A Capacitive Touch Display detects touch by sensing changes in an electrostatic field when a finger or conductive object contacts the screen. It features a transparent conductive layer, typically indium tin oxide (ITO), over the display. Unlike resistive screens, which rely on pressure, capacitive screens respond to the electrical properties of the human body, allowing for high sensitivity and multi-touch capabilities. This technology offers smoother, more accurate touch responses and supports gestures like pinch-to-zoom. Additionally, capacitive displays provide better clarity and brightness, making them ideal for smartphones, tablets, and other modern touch devices.
